After Effects Enables Complex Structure of Thought™ — that we can implement, absorb and grow toward the Positive.
This is an excellent video posted by Jennie Hochthanner about the controversial Troy, Michigan Library debacle. It’s the best example I’ve seen about a positive way to combat the Hegelian Dialectic that confronts us all on a daily basis. And if you are not familiar with the Hegelian Dialectic, watching this video is a must. And this is incredibly important in understanding what is going globally today.
In order to make the larger point and teach an important lesson, the small group of Troy Citizens demonstrate a number of incredibly relevant things, especially now in this complex, woven tapestry of reality we share. I will let you draw your own conclusions about their actions and what they did – but it is brilliant, and I commend their valiant effort.
But Jeannie Hochthanner’s incredible visualization of the events, thru the power of Adobe After Effects and (I imagine) Final Cut Pro – weaves the visual tale in a way that compliments and enhances the explanation of the narrator, even more so than just canned footage of the Participants. Nice Job Jeannie.
This technique is so vital and incredibly needed today. And it is a great example that sets he table for all of us to hurdle barriers that keep us from understanding, on many levels.
We seem to be repeating history in varying degrees because we keep falling for all the same old ‘tricks’ – the most recent Anti-Muslim Film being the latest example. I believe this is because the people responsible for funding and putting out the film are attempting to achieve the desired response of Turmoil and Conflict.
I heard about this for the first time yesterday – but I am just seeing it in the Main Stream Media today – here’s a link to the story. This is a direct, manufactured attack by this newly-elected leadership in the Republican majority in Wisconsin. This is a direct result of the recent supreme court decisions made by the Citizens United Case… which is a 1984 Double Speak if I’ve ever heard of it.
I’m Sorry, but the interests of the Ruling Class are not going to be happy until they turn this country into Bangladesh and we’re all scurrying for scraps of wages of pennies on the dollar! Never mind the Invisible Tax on the poor called Inflation, which is ramping up quite nicely right now, thank you.
From what I have heard from Progressive talk radio, this is the 6th day of protest, with the numbers growing every day… and the MSM is going to ignore this story unless people start talking about it. So Please click on the link below and feel free to share, tweet, talk to your friends and relatives about what is going on here.
My spin on this is – ‘Isn’t There Enough Pie for All®?’ To what purpose is it to rob from those who make barely survivable wages to give giant corporations and their boards of directors huge tax breaks? To Paraphrase Ed Schultz: ‘This is the blueprint for the Corporatocrasy to suck even more wealth from the working people, from healthy pensions that have funds for years to come so that they can get their hands on the worker’s money’.
George Carlin, who is not only one of the greatest Comics but IMO a modern-day Prophet, predicted this Exact thing almost 10 years ago –
As George Said – ‘They’ve got you by the balls…! They’re coming for your Pension! They want it Back!’
‘But there’s a reason. There’s a reason. There’s a reason for this, there’s a reason education SUCKS, and it’s the same reason it will never … ever … EVER be fixed. It’s never going to get any better, don’t look for it, be happy with what you’ve got. … … … BECAUSE … THE OWNERS, OF THIS COUNTRY, DON’T WANT THAT! … …
I’m talking about the real owners now … … … … … the BIG owners! … … … The Wealthy … … … … … the REAL owners! … The big wealthy business interests that control things … and make all the important decisions. … … … … Forget the politicians. They are irelevant. … … The politicians are put there to give you the idea that you have freedom of choice . . . … you dont. You have no choice! You have OWNERS! They OWN YOU.
They own everything. They own all the important land. … They own and control the corporations. Theyve long since bought, and paid for the Senate, the Congress, the state houses, the city halls, they got the judges in their back pockets and they own all the big media companies, so they control just about all of the news and information you get to hear. … They got you by the balls. … … They spend billions of dollars every year lobbying … . . . lobbying, … to get what they want . . . … Well, we know what they want. They want more for themselves and less for everybody else,
BUT Ill tell you what they dont want . . . they dont want a population of citizens capable of critical thinking. … … They dont want well informed, well educated people capable of critical thinking. Theyre not interested in that . . . that doesnt help them. Thats against their interests. Thats right. … … They dont want people who are smart enough to sit around a kitchen table and think about how badly theyre getting FUCKED by a system that threw them overboard 30 FUCKING years ago. … … They dont want that!
You know what they want? They want obedient workers . . . Obedient workers, people who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork. … And just dumb enough to passively accept all these increasingly shitty jobs with the lower pay, the longer hours, the reduced benefits, the end of overtime and vanishing pension that disappears the minute you go to collect it, and now theyre coming for your … Social Security money. … … … They want your retirement money. They want it back so they can give it to their criminal friends on Wall Street, and you know something? … … … Theyll get it . . . theyll get it all from you sooner or later cause they own this FUCKING place!
Its a big club, and you ain’t in it! … … … … You, and I, are not in The big club. By the way, its the same big club they use to beat you over the head with all day long when they tell you what to believe. All day long beating you over the head with their media telling you what to believe, what to think and what to buy. The table has tilted folks. The game is rigged and nobody seems to notice. Nobody seems to care!
Good honest hard-working people . . . white collar, blue collar it doesnt matter what color shirt you have on. Good honest hard-working people continue, these are people of modest means . . . continue to elect these rich COOK SUCKERS who dont give a FUCK about you. ( Hello Wisconsin… Are you Listening? ) They dont give a FUCK about you . . . … they dont give a FUCK about you. …. …. They dont care about you at all . . . at all . . . at all, and nobody seems to notice. Nobody seems to care.
Thats what the owners count on. The fact that Americans will probably remain willfully ignorant of the big red, white and blue dick thats being jammed up their assholes everyday, because the owners of this country know the truth. Its called the American Dream, … cause you have to be asleep to believe it . . .”
This is EXACTLY what is happening with this Country, RIGHT NOW. We have Let the powers that be choose this direction of ‘To Hell with the Middle Class, with Working People’ ( Thom Hartmann pharaphrase ) and the only thing that matters is the whims of the Ownership Class.
But Again, can’t we make it to where there are no losers in this reality, and to a certain degree ‘Can’t Everybody Win®?’
‘Isn’t There Enough Pie for All®?’
Well, it’s the halfway point in the 2009 baseball season, and I thought this would be a good time to throw my hat into the ring in regards to this familiar and annoying topic. I’ve had this conversation with many people, as all baseball fans tend to do amongst themselves.
Why can’t they pay baseball players according to their statistics, instead of to what their potential seems to be? How many times have we seen a guy sign a big contract, for zillions of dollars, in ANY sport, not just baseball—only to see the athlete just tank and under-perform the next season.
Then there’s the owners, all the variables that go along with running a league, merchandising, licensing, agents bargaining… so many things that affect the bottom line in regards to any pay structure, and to expand, on any economic model. And as an artist and not being born with a left-side of my brain (I use that part of my skull for Christmas ornament storage), talking money is a true stretch for my poor little lonely right brain to handle.
So I don’t know why I am obsessed with how I think ‘we’ should pay baseball players—maybe it’s because it has led me to a way to combine different Structures of Thought™ on how to cope with this March to Ruin that is our economy right now—or whatever the corporatocracy wants us to believe at this moment in history. Since the entire system is basically shot, now is the time to just change the whole structure—not just the Thought Structure, but the entire economic process. And we can start by trying it out on how we pay baseball players.
First of all, the NFL more closely follows this model, by somewhat pooling all their revenue and approaching the distribution of money within the league, the use of salary caps, and the loose philosophy that health of the league as a whole is in the best interest of all teams, and that parity within the league gives all a better chance at winning. Plus it keeps all fans interested, because every year their team has a chance. Read the rest of this entry »
I found this audio selection about six months ago, and I have listened to it maybe 10-15 times since. I think I had heard of Earl Nightingale before, and he reads this philosophy very convincingly. And I really like how it starts… Men simply don’t think. How true is this in our million mile an hour world today?
There is a lot of insight and truth in this message—and it’s obvious even today with all the hubbub that popped up about “The Secret” about what, 2 years ago now? Read the rest of this entry »
First let me say I am so thankful that I remain busy and have tons to do… hence the sporadic nature of my Posts. I wish I were more consistent—I strive for at least one a week. But I gotta make hay while the sun shines.
That being said, one of the reasons I started this blog is to critique and ferret out video documentaries on the net for my friends and other intellectually curious that maybe “normal” people wouldn’t necessarily see. So I comb Video Google ( instead of YouTube, because they have full length videos ) and watch / listen to them while I work. Read the rest of this entry »
I was watching the season premiere of Real Time with Bill Maher the other day. His panel and he were talking about the predicament we, as a global society, are all experiencing right now. And their conversation reminded me of all the Discovery Channel / History Channel / Nova / Carl Sagan etc. shows I have ever seen, talking to scientists, physicists, chemists, micro biologists and what not , talking about Quantum Physics, the smaller aspects of what makes up our “physical” Omniverse™.
And what do they conclude?
To sum up, it is basically this: the closer they look at what makes up what we perceive as solid “Matter”—the more they break that down and peer into the Atoms, thru the Protons, Neutrons, & Electrons, smaller and smaller into the quarks and all their variety, the more they look into what actually makes up the physical “universe”, the more they realize it is made up of… emptyness. Empty space.
Now that doesn’t mean there isn’t anything there. Vibrating energy is something, in a metaphysical sense.
But I think this Quantum Physics analogy towards the Banking Industry is a proper and justified.
My reasoning is this—in all the explanations I have seen in regards to how banking works, the Federal Reserve ( from Zeitgeist ) and the mystery and yes, conspiracy that surrounds it, there is a correlation to how banks “behave” and how electrons “behave”. When the smallest of the building blocks are observed, they behave one way, but when they are not under direct supervision, they behave in a completely different fashion.
As with the banks—without solid regulations, checks and balances and accountability, they behave one way… pretty much like a “wave”—nothing is really there. But when they are within the brightly shining spotlight, and the microscope is focused squarely on them, we find that the banking system can behave like a particle, with seemingly solid substance. As long as it is being observed and held to a higher standard—a standard based on substance, preferably Gold… at least that is how it has always been done, until recently.
Very similar… Banking and Quantum Physics.
it is interesting—both seem to rely very heavily upon faith.
Not to be too long winded about this, ( ha ha ) but in linking my Thought Structure™ researching the videos for this post, one of the words that the scientists kept coming back to over and over in regards to how Atoms, and more specifically electrons, behave, they talk about the potential of the atom, and the energy that it possesses.
As the above clip from “what the bleep do we know” so eloquently demonstrates, our comprehension of what reality is and how we perceive it is changing at a dramatic rate. It is my contention that the monetary system, this “old style” of control, has totally limited the potential of mankind itself. It has convinced all of us to focus on something that gives over all our control to a very small group of people whose only thought has been to keep all of us in the dark and to milk us for all potential.
We have outgrown this method of “debt enslavement.”
The human race can do so much better, don’t you think? That’s where Positive Thought Structure™ comes into play—it has always been, we just need to recognize that it is there for us always.
The Power of Intention – it cuts both ways. And there are so many unenlightened humans, mired in the morass of Negative Thought Structure™… the heaviness and negativity of all these conspiracies to keep us dumbed down, to limit us as to who we really are—it is my hope that those within the halls of this so called “power” evolve along with the rest of us and strive for a new way to be.
