…except for whole Karl Rove fiasco – you reap what you sow. Sorry to start with this, but I can’t help myself… From wikipedia:

The source of the term is a quotation in an October 17, 2004, The New York Times Magazine article by writer Ron Suskind, quoting an unnamed aide to George W. Bush (later attributed to Karl Rove[1]):

The aide said that guys like me were “in what we call the reality-based community,” which he defined as people who “believe that solutions emerge from your judicious study of discernible reality.” … “That’s not the way the world really works anymore,” he continued. “We’re an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you’re studying that reality—judiciously, as you will—we’ll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that’s how things will sort out. We’re history’s actors…and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do.”

Okay Karl – we’ll study this past week and watch the conclusions drawn from Karl’s new role in history as someone who reaps the ‘reality’ he has sown, with all his lies, deceit and projection – especially accusing the Democratic party of ‘voter suppression’.

As a Science and ‘Mystically’ based Progressive Liberal, I’m much more relieved than anything. A Romney Presidency was a much more a grim prospect, IMHO… the continued serfdom of the American worker.

But for all my Red State friends, of which there are many – and as anti-evangelic as I am —( I mean that not as ‘Anti-Christian’ but ‘Anti-I have to convince you I am right about something to the point of annoyance’) — I’d like you to explore for yourself, at least, turning off the Faux News and listening to the Liberal Progressive side for a while. I implore you to do this for many obvious reasons, but the main one is this statement: You have been in a ‘Propaganda Bubble’, and purposely lied to, for YEARS.

For as much as Bill Maher is a pompous jackass in real life, this is a point he has been hammering for the past 2-3 years. This ‘Being in the Republican Bubble’ election results and the Fox News crowd, who have been in this bubble’s reaction proves that he has been right on the money.

So please back away from the Conservative Buffet and at least broaden your perspective.

To prove this point:  David Frum is not my favorite person, but he’s out today with a book published and ready to go called ‘Why Romney Lost’.  On Morning Joe lon Thursday, November 8th, this former NeoCon of the Bush administration admitted what I just stated in the paragraph above. Watch it here:

After Effects Enables Complex Structure of Thought™ — that we can implement, absorb and grow toward the Positive.

This is an excellent video posted by Jennie Hochthanner about the controversial Troy, Michigan Library debacle.  It’s the best example I’ve seen about a positive way to combat the Hegelian Dialectic that confronts us all on a daily basis.  And if you are not familiar with the Hegelian Dialectic, watching this video is a must. And this is incredibly important in understanding what is going globally today.

In order to make the larger point and teach an important lesson, the small group of Troy Citizens demonstrate a number of incredibly relevant things, especially now in this complex, woven tapestry of reality we share. I will let you draw your own conclusions about their actions and what they did – but it is brilliant, and I commend their valiant effort.

But Jeannie Hochthanner’s incredible visualization of the events, thru the power of Adobe After Effects and (I imagine) Final Cut Pro – weaves the visual tale in a way that compliments and enhances the explanation of the narrator, even more so than just canned footage of the Participants. Nice Job Jeannie.

This technique is so vital and incredibly needed today. And it is a great example that sets he table for all of us to hurdle barriers that keep us from understanding, on many levels.

We seem to be repeating history in varying degrees because we keep falling for all the same old ‘tricks’ – the most recent Anti-Muslim Film being the latest example. I believe this is because the people responsible for funding and putting out the film are attempting to achieve the desired response of Turmoil and Conflict.

LIBOR and Penn State Scandals — More than just
Coincidental Negative Thought Structure™

There are a few conclusions society can draw about how both these very ‘different in theory’ scandals have more than a few similar puzzle pieces that make up their ‘big pictures’.

• ‘Cartel’ Mentality. Like all outed conspiracies, there has been a concerted effort to minimize the damage by “sacrificing the damaged ‘player’ to protect the ‘game’” so to speak. But here are some very poignant similarities in both cases that show these scandals come from the same frames of mind, or ‘Negative Thought Structure™’, that perpetuates this very abusive behavior.

In both cases the powers that be circled the wagons, and everything to protect the ‘Programs’ themselves was done. This abuse was an exception and not the rule, supposedly.

In the LIBOR case, base borrowing permeates every aspect of our lives, and affects all of us in one way or another. Supposedly, these financial companies, if not directly involved, knew the true nature of this abuse, but would never let on that they know about it and would plea ‘Plausible Deniability’ if asked.

It is very sad to say – and it’s evident by the Evidence and Judgement handed down by the NCAA Monday July 23rd, that same Negative Thought Structure™ is what infected the entire Penn State Program – and permeates many “Holier Than Thou” institutions, organized religions, corporate cultures – the Abuse of Power at its core.  And this ‘molestation pattern’ exposed at Penn State, it is very sad to say again, is just the tip of a much bigger iceberg underlying many of these aforementioned examples.

A better analogy than ‘Tip of the Iceberg’ is ‘Just One Tentacle of a much Bigger Seamonster’ – a Vampire Squid, if you will. But like a hit song that gets played to death, Matt Taibbi uses in his analogy of the banking system that even he is now sick of hearing about.

• Oblivious to Wrongdoing.  If you listen to Sandusky’s uncensored interview with Bob Costas, Sandusky projects a trivialization of his actions by famously calling it ‘Horseplay’.  He also projects an air of invincibility regarding his place as a “sacred cow’ of Penn State Football.   When you listen to Dennis Kelleher, who has a track record of working with the perpetrators of the LIBOR scandal, he sums up the same “air of ‘Untouchability’” that these 16 bank reps have regarding their ‘Horseplay’ with their lending rates.

cartoons found by __ & ___, graphs courtesy of Bloomberg and Media Matters

• Isolation from the ‘Real World’. It has only recently come to my attention that Happy Valley is incredibly isolated in the state of Pennsylvania – hard to get to and out from. It is easy to see how the the PSU hierarchy, literally being ‘The Only Game in Town’, would think that normal rules really don’t apply to them.

It doesn’t have to be pointed out how this mindset applies to the ‘Too Big to Fail’  banking establishment, their self-perception and how they exist in this world and within their similar bubble.

• Bizarre Love Notes. Sandusky wrote to his victims, the LIBOR perpetrators wrote to each other, but both expressed very odd affections toward each other, further evidence of the insulated, delusional behavior they were involved in perpetrating.

• Second Mile+Adjustable Rate Bait=Complete Disregard for their Victims. The initial connection might be a bit of a stretch, but Sandusky is a founding member of Second Mile, a place where many troubled kids found ‘mentorship’ and guidance. In retrospect we now know Sandusky used this admirable charity as his own personal “feeding ground” for his victims. This is much like Florida Congressional Representative Foley being on the committee of missing and exploited children… putting the foxes in charge of the hen-house happens more often than not in our society.

The LIBOR correlation is offering ‘too good to be true’ adjustable rates to those people who could least afford it. This does put a measure of responsibility on those who accept these conditions, but now we are learning that the small kabal in charge of these rates were and are manipulating them and making the adjustments at their own whims for the most selfish of reasons ( as the LIBOR “love note” emails reveal ) show that this whole thing could be just a ploy to suck victims into the system for harvest, like Sandusky did with his select choices of his “Charity”.

The Banksters are much less victim selective, of course – but again, the victims in both cases turn out to be part of modern society’s most vulnerable people.

I’m sure there’s more – in both cases, we only have what mostly mainstream media has reported. But the conclusion drawn is that molestation exists on many levels in our society. Of course, sexual molestation is the most shocking.

But the same mindset sits behind what is being done to all of us with this LIBOR scandal.

We should be just as outraged as we would be if it were our own child, approached by any adult with Sandusky’s ‘Horseplay’ in mind.

Let’s hope that a similar punishment and judgement will be handed down to the perpetrators of the LIBOR scandal, as the NCAA has done with its judgement handed down on Penn State.

Dick Cheney’s recent heart transplant gives him
a unique opportunity at a spiritual redemption, if he so chooses.

Dick Cheney received a new heart this weekend.

One of the many jokes I heard about this development was if they could find a donor ‘with as black a heart’ to match Cheney’s.

But after snickering about this, I remembered that I had seen that patients who received transplants inherited Tastes, Traits, Memories, Quirks, etc, from the donors of their organs. This happens sometimes with the lungs and liver, but very specifically from Heart donors.

A quick video.google search reinforces this – here’s an example (part 1 of 4):

It will be interesting to see how ‘Darth Cheney’ reacts to his new heart.

In my ever-evolving personal belief Thought Structure™, although I find what Cheney and his NeoCon Kabal have done to this planet, and our collective reality in general, morally incomprehensible, I can’t and won’t judge him. Or even hate him and his ilk.

However, I would support that he be held responsible for his actions. I know he probably feels the same way, but he would never admit that out loud. I bet Cheney fears death more than most – I would if I were Cheney, and if I had any inkling that I would be judged for his actions in this lifetime. I do believe that He, like all of us, will be held responsible – and that he will have to pay off his karmic debt at some point, in some fashion.

That being said, while he heals with his new, hopefully kinder, gentler heart over the coming weeks and months, it will be interesting to see how Cheney reacts to this new, ‘less-black’ heart.

Will he inherit any cravings, traits, quirks, memories or beliefs of the person whose heart he inherited? Hopefully a person who values life, has a sense of selflessness and justice?

Maybe.

Scrooge needed the spiritual world to come into his dreams to change his heart. The Grinch learned his lesson and changed his heart on his own.

Maybe Cheney, Literally, needed a Physical Change of Heart to actually realize what life, and this reality we all inhabit together, is all about.

It is my hope that this becomes the feel-good Story of the Summer of 2012, with Cheney joining hands with the rest of the good people of this Planet Earth, in a hilarious music video-type montage of him, espousing all forms of the Beatitudes and converting hate and intolerance into inclusion and acceptance.

I really think that this would be… Possible..!  Because anything is.

Maybe Will Ferrell could play Dubya in it.

Wouldn’t that be something?

Man Imus kicks Wallace’s ASS at the end of that segment… Hilarious! Calls him a “Liberal Intellectual Elitist” or something – then calls him a dope and hangs up on him. Classic.

What a snerdlington. Another example of being born on Third base and thinking he hit a triple.

This is a response to Huffington Post Frequent Contributor Joe the Nerd’s Post: I Saw a Different SOTU –

Hey Joe – Great post. Timely, relevant. I follow your comments and mostly agree with everything you usually say, but want to drive home a specific point.

What the Powers that Be want us to believe is that All is Hopeless, We Have no Choice, Everything is Broken, Government Doesn’t Work, Our Kids are Dumb, They Can’t do the Job – it’s the Teacher’s Fault, it’s the Unions Fault – On and on.

What Science is starting to tell us, however, is that is not the way the Omniverse™ works – not the way it works at all. And THAT is the Big Secret that is being hidden from all of us. Mankind is capable of anything, the most beautiful, the most inclusive, the most benevolent of existences. But that is being fought tooth and nail – and why? The Power to control thru Money.

Joe, it’s my hope that we’re all waking up to what is really at the core of why we are all here on this little rock spinning in this void of blackness. We have to cut ourselves slack, and these same “Powers that Be” as well – they have been bred to have no soul, no conscience… and that horrible behavior is rewarded, while those with compassion get stepped on. Humanity should recognize and reward the more Positive Thought Structure™ that has always been within all of existence.

Seriously, can’t we have a civilized discourse in this country? An example of it is here –

http://blameblakeart.wordpress.com/2010/10/20/agreeing-to-disagree/

Personally, It’s my belief that the powers that be want the Chaos to continue, with a divide and conquer mentality. Keep the lower classes at each other’s throats so they can maintain their grip on power.

Thank the Omniverse™ for this brave woman who took action against this poor, misguided soul… what a waste !

There’s a Blog I enjoy very much called Ethics Alarms that I have been following over the past 3-6 months… and I enjoy it because I don’t always agree with what he says. As a matter of fact he’s very right of center. The big difference in what he writes is that he calls people to the carpet on either side of the aisle. I stumbled upon his blog after a google search of ‘Ethics’ – and I have been a subscriber ever since.

This Blogger, named Jack Marshall, pumps out maybe 5-10 posts a week… a volume that I find hard to fathom. It takes me forever to get rolling on an entry, but since I contacted him to ask permission to talk about this particular exchange he’s written 4+ postings. But there is a particular post in which I am completely at odds with his opinion, to the point of where we both think each other is completely wacky for each’s respective perspective.  Read the rest of this entry »

The Dutch own goal, plus all the other odd plays so far in this World Cup – I agree… the own goal is most unfortunate. However, I also think that the BALL with all it’s changes and the players being somewhat unfamiliar with it ( why did they change the ball again, $omeone tell me please? ) is so unpredictable that we are going to be seeing many more snafus like own goals, goalie blunders, etc. The good news is that they all have to deal with it collectively, but you can tell that all the players are in the process of trying to figure out how this ball flies and its characteristics.

I don’t know if that lends itself to the biggest sporting event in the world… if I were coaching, I’d just tell my team to fire away from any angle, regardless… it’ll probably karoom in somehow, or the goalie will mishandle it… this new ball, in my opinion, has taken away the “sharpness” of the highest caliber play making we all have come to expect from this tournament.

I think the Danish defender is laughing, and rightly so, at the absurdity of the situation. What else can you do..?

If the earth is a school, what is the lesson of this massive, sickening disaster..? If everything happens for a reason, is this the only way we are going to learn about personal responsibility, unselfish behavior, and the consequences of our actions?

What disturbs me so much, and sickens me even more about this whole event, is that BP seems to be most concerned about “getting the oil” not as a responsibility for cleanup, but because of the value they put on the resale of the oil. If they are so disconnected with reality that they cannot see the PR disaster that they have on their hands ( I think they’re finally getting the picture ) they are truly insane. OR – have a more sinister, hidden agenda.

I am sorry to say, this to me smells of purposeful negligence, in the tradition of Disaster Capitalism by Naomi Klein. Before any troll defenders start with the “how dare you” argument – save your BS. I am not buying it. Problem Reaction Solution.

The true nature of reality has been hidden from us. The Human Race is capable of the greatest of things – we control it – and it doesn’t have to be this hard, this terrible. Let’s take this horrible situation and use it to get ourselves ( and more importantly, the sick, crazy hidden agenda that really runs things ) under control. Or we will have to find a new planet.
