See the above graphic? The ‘Death of Osama Bin Laden’ made me dig deep into my pack-ratted information that I keep in my archives to find this old screen shot of how my mind reacts to ‘big’ events like this, good and bad.

But I hope this above graphic I hastily threw together on September 11, 2001, validates for you how I believe all of us, especially we Americans, should react when we are told that Osama Bin Laden has been killed, his body ‘bio-vaced’ out of Pakistan and buried at sea.

(For all you Computer Geeks, you can see the age of the graphic by recognizing the old Mac OS9 graphics and (I think) the now ancient illustrator 6?)

I make no bones about the fact that I am a ‘Conspiracy Theorist’ – in the best sense of the word.  I Question any and all Authority. I don’t trust any official Government statements. Especially any organized push from the MSM. The exception is my closest and best pals, the people who really love me. I am very cautious about jumping in with both feet about Automatically Swallowing whatever the MSM spoonfeeds us.

And it makes me sad that to see the emotional relatives of those killed on 9-11 being interviewed all over the MSM today – whether they believe this Official Rollout Story or not. It is a reminder that this colossal 9-11 Mind-F**k Event is still fresh.  Time does heal all wounds, but revisiting them so sharply as they are doing today still invokes such a strong response. And I am sure – the MSM are not going to interview any of the 9-11 victims groups that endorse any of the various Truther organizations - they’ll steer clear of those.

The powers that be have gotten it wrong way, way too many times, and have shaped this reality in a way that I think suppresses our Freedoms instead of making Existence a Benevolent, Mystical, Educational and Wonderful experience I know it has the potential to be, for all of Humanity, not just a chosen few.

…so I hope you know that I am completely sincere when I say that again, we all need to THINK before we react to this news.

I am listening to Ed Schultz radio show as I type – and he is just Validating what I see as a total Made for Media event. To paraphrase, he said that he feels like he is watching a Movie, and that it is so surreal. Again and again this makes me think of all this in a very ‘Edward Bernaisian’ sense, a Hegelian Dialectic  type of situation. There are a few really weird things I have observed since these events started to ‘Roll out’ since last night – and there are plenty of instances in the past that 9+ years that are completely fishy that have been re-hashed by many others.

But there are Two instances I’d like to just point out to you – I didn’t take a screen shot of the first instance, but Fox News is now spelling Osama ‘Usama’ – when did that start? Everyone else seems to still be spelling it ‘Osama’ – Does anyone know the reason for this? Maybe it’s because they can’t keep Obama and Osama Straight?

But second and even weirder – Donald Rumsfeld was on the Today show this morning. The graphics they had up behind him while Matt Lauer interviewed him were a very curious choice.

Look at the graphics behind him – there is the word ‘government’ in a picture as it looks in a dictionary. I don’t understand what the Frick that is supposed to signify… I have some ideas, but too lengthy to go into here.  But Nothing happens on these news interviews by chance.  I think they really think all these things out. What are these ‘Nuanced’ subtle messages telling us?

Look at the picture above Rumsfeld’s shoulder – it is a closeup of the statue on top of the Capitol Building – ‘The Statue of Freedom’ is what the public name of the statue is called. And never mind all the hidden symbolism that is very well-known in Masonic Circles that this statue supposedly really represents… I was going to go into detail about it, but it looks as if many of the links I used to explore that refer to this were down or changed.

Looking at the statue – it’s not a picture of the front of the statue, it’s the back! Why??

So if it is the Statue of Freedom, and with all the emphasis and importance of Symbolism and Hidden in Plain Sight Meaning that these ruling elites use – This Statue of Freedom’s back is to us as we listen to Rummy lay out his canned reaction to this ‘Event’. What does its back to us signify to you?

This strikes me as interesting – if I wasn’t aware of all my info I have compiled over the past few years, I would not have given it a second thought – but since I have a sincere wish to know and accept the true nature of a loving, benevolent Omniverse™ — of which Rumsfeld and I are both a part of — this is just yet another example of a hidden message flashed in our faces. In this Bizarro—world being manifested before our eyes, I would like to think that I am seeing what this small, very powerful group of people are Manipulating and Shaping our Perception, of what they are doing to us —  that I see it all with Absolute Love and Total Awareness — I hope by my sharing of this info you can think for yourself and draw your own conclusions.

The Next Day, as I write this, the Peter King ‘Islamic Radicalization’ meetings – which have no purpose, IMO, than to distract, divide and pit the 99.5% of us ‘Have Nots’ against each other. Meanwhile, the powers that be, Legally or Illegaly, pass questionable laws that strip all of us of our Rights and our ability to voice not only our Opinions, but our Dissent against this whole Very Successful, Very Cleaver, Incredibly Effective and now Not-S0-Hidden Agenda.

This ‘Al-Qaeda-izing’ ( the database ) of the entire Muslim Community completely distracts the MSM ( purposely ) from what is really happening here, and pitting the ill-informed public against each other is the tactic of choice again, Beautifully Maestro’ed by the Hidden Agendas.

Then across the hill you have Michelle and President Obama speaking to educators, parents, and community leaders as well as politicians who seem to care about Bullying and the Tactics of Bullying, and the examples and reasons behind bullying…

Does anyone else see the Irony and Lessons of this Point in time in the Structure of Thought™ has laid out before us on this day?

I want to just recognize that in my belief system, there are clues and underlying reasons things happen – sometimes it truly is a coincidence, but there are other times when the Synchronicity is almost Blatant – and this is one of those times. If Corporations are People and Money is Speech, well then We the People are being Bullied by Citizens United, American Crossroads, Fox News, et al.

Like I have said before, I really am no fan of either political party, and just because it is Legal doesn’t make it Correct to implement, profits before people, without Conscience.

At the Least, the Democratic Party, again at the Least, the majority of those who call themselves ‘Democrats’ believe in Ethical, Moral, and Reasoned Behavior – and handcuffed by their Corporate Purse Strings aside… they want the same opportunities for all Americans, not just the Rich White people.

And yes, Elections do have consequences – but the People of Wisconsin never heard Walker mention he was going to do what he has done… and it’s plain to see the Bait and Switch Tactics He and his Ilk have employed… The FACT that they have done this at all is a Bullying Tactic. It’s Lying Liars.

Let’s hope that these events, when looked at through the Prism of Positive Thought Structure™, will show those who have denied that things like this don’t just happen in a Vacuum. We have to Stand Up to this Bully – in the truest sense of Gandhi, with Non-Violent, Peaceful, Organized Non-Compliance. I give the People of Wisconsin and Muslim Americans Immense Credit for ‘Keeping a Lid on their Pots.’ It is my hope that the best of Humanity and cooler, less selfish heads will prevail, and that these Bullies will be brought to Justice. This is why you don’t see any National Democrats, especially Obama, in Wisconsin.­­.. Obama’s Corporate handlers will NOT let him go down there if they can help it – Ed Schultz wants Obama to come to Madison – but that flies in the face of everything Obama stands for!

If Obama goes to Wisconsin, he breaks from what the Hidden Agenda ‘Allows’ him to do – if that happens, watch out… Sparks will Fly.

I’m Sorry, but the interests of the Ruling Class are not going to be happy until they turn this country into Bangladesh and we’re all scurrying for scraps of wages of pennies on the dollar! My spin on this is – ‘Isn’t There Enough Pie for All®?’  To what purpose is it to rob from those who make barely survivable wages to give giant corporations and their boards of directors huge tax breaks? To Paraphrase Ed Schultz: ‘This is the blueprint for the Corporatocrasy to suck even more wealth from the working people, from healthy pensions that have funds for years to come so that they can get their hands on the worker’s money’.

But Again, can’t we make it to where there are no losers in this reality, and to a certain degree ‘Can’t Everybody Win®?’

This is a very feeble attempt to equate the uprising in Egypt with the Gloom and Doom of “Radical Islamic Muslim Al Qaeda Taliban” etc. etc.

Just as there are varying degrees of Christianity, from moderate to extremely radical ( Westboro Baptist comes to mind ), so there are varying degrees of organizations and people of Muslim Faith around the world… and trying to equate the overthrowing of a Strong Man Dictatorship ( and, as Saddam was in the 80′s, “Our Thug” ) – which totally flies in the face of the NeoConartist worldview.

The Vast Majority of Egyptians are Secular, meaning they want the separation of their Muslim Religion from their Government – Church separate from State – Much like Turkey, to a certain degree.

Fox News ( and MSNBC if they have posted this story as well ) and their “reporters” are having a very hard time equating the Good People of Egypt with their constant spewing of the “Muslim ‘The Database’ Boogeyman” – and you can’t paint all people of Muslim faith with the Same Brush. And, by posting such a HOKEY after effects video, shows their true colors as a propagandist tool, and I hope that those people who use Fox as their primary news source recognize this Fact. And – if MSNBC posts this on their site without pointing out the obvious special effects, they’re just as guilty.

However, we all have to be vigilant about how the ruling corporate elites, that are trying to control and keep the true potential of humanity down, handle this developmen­t. From behind the scenes, who knows what is happening – Panic? Opportunit­y? Relief?

I truly believe that ‘There is Enough Pie for All®’ – let’s take this Revolution in Thinking – which is what it is – as a lesson in learning to take care of each other and share… this could be a true turning point for Humanity. It’s my hope that it is handled in the best interest of all the Egyptian People, not just a chosen few of the elites.

And my motivation for writing this ‘Part II’ is that many of my friends and colleagues have asked me how I completed ‘Dawn in Leonardville’ in such a timely fashion. Looking back, I am amazed that I was able to do it at all, and as quickly as I did. It was the biggest piece I have done to date, and I did it while I worked full-time.

I’ll just say this — setting a deadline with a financial boost for completion by that date helped a great deal. Also, FEAR of not hitting that deadline is a GREAT motivator as well.

This commission and the completion of another piece of mine has led to me landing a Solo Show this coming April, here in Chicago’s Wicker Park. With that ‘Plug’ for myself being said, I am going to be super busy in the next 8 weeks preparing for the Sunday, April 17 opening at People Tapas and Lounge, 7-10pm — if any of my loyal readers are in Chicago or want to plan to come up, any and all are welcome. I am planning on having a few new pieces up and pesky unfinished pieces completed for the show, including ‘King of Procrastination,’ which I have been tweaking for the past 12 years. In finishing it, I might implode into a wormhole vortex… maybe it would be a good idea do finish that later.

So Let me explain my approach to starting ‘Dawn in Leonardville,’ which was the title I thought of about one fourth of the way thru completing the piece. In part I, I mentioned that I convinced my Patrons who commissioned the piece that for shipping purposes and a variety of other reasons, executing the painting divided into 6 two-foot square canvases was the best approach. In my mind this was a logical, inexpensive and smart way to achieve their goal of an atmospheric art piece, the large size they desired, for what turns out to be a combination formal dining room and library.

So I did a number of things to prepare the canvases… first I sketched out how I wanted the cows to be positioned in the piece. When I did this, the cow’s face on the left fell right in the gap where 4 corners of canvases met – I didn’t want that to happen. So I moooved ( sorry, can’t help myself ) him over a bit further – it took some time to get him positioned just right, but it was the right call to nudge him over. Then I coated the canvases with 3 layers of gesso… and I did a little trick in applying – I applied it smooth and uniform everywhere, but on the cows, I used a rough, dabbing motion to emulate the cows fur and hide, where applicable.

I have been drawing and painting all my life. Still, when I paint I have all kinds of ‘How to’ and reference material at my disposal to help me avoid pitfalls and cul-de-sacs that might bog me down. . And, in the majority of my previous works, I only applied colors as I need them to the canvas, in the sections I was working on at the time.

That being said, I wanted to try something new I read about in some of my reference books. And since the ‘Time’ of this painting was at dawn, I wanted the whole painting to have an overall warmness to it. So I started by coating all six canvases with the color Raw Sienna. Other artists – if you’ve never done this, or are scared to try it, I highly endorse this technique — it not only helped me later in applying color, but it totally got me ‘into the groove’ in regards to warming up my brush stroke technique.

Next I mixed Burnt Sienna, Alizarin Crimson and a touch of Prussian Blue, just sketched in the outlines and darkest areas of the composition, just to help me visualize it on the canvases. When painting in Oil, you lay in your dark colors first and work towards putting in your highlights last. This is the opposite of Watercolor, where you lay down the lightest colors first and the dark areas last. Oil is an extremely forgiving medium — much more so than watercolor. If you screw up in Oil, you can just take a rag and wipe away what you don’t like. It can be painful if you’ve spent hours working over an area of your painting – but still, it’s better than starting over from scratch, like so many watercolor compositions that can go awry with one misplaced brush stroke.

Also, as I was laying in the initial darks, I realized that it would be a good idea to re-hang the canvases with a uniform gap of about one inch between all the canvases, and paint ‘around the corners’ helping visually tie the canvases together. I was bummed at first, because I thought this would be extremely difficult and making it much more work, but as I moved forward, just eyeballing and lining up the visuals — it really made a tremendous difference in making this piece dynamic. Plus, having a studio where I could move around the piece, step back and just look at it, was vital to say the least.

Using Prussian Blue for the dark and Cerulean Blue for the part closest to the Sun in the ‘East’, I blocked in the sky next. Just general color to block in where it went. After I did this, I let the piece dry during the work week before starting on the next phase.

The next weekend or three I came in and laid out my general palate. Then I just attacked the canvases. In explaining how I approached the challenge of the sky, I wanted to make it look like the Sun was to the East, if the viewer of the piece is looking ‘South’. So I wanted it to almost look like night on left side, and ‘dawnish’ green-sky daytime on the right side, behind the barn in the upper right side of the composition. I had to mix my own greenish sky color there, and it was not easy.

The main colors I used were Viridian Green with touches of Titanium White. Honestly, I spent more time on the sky than on any other part of the composition… for me it is always a challenge, and I make it that way… I always try to push myself to tackle difficult problems as an artist.

I went in and embellished the darkest areas of my 3 cow pals in the foreground, as well as the 3 that recede into the back of the ‘Pen’. Here I had to be careful – the depth of field was very tricky, and I always had to pay attention to where and what I was applying paint, and how far away I wanted things in the painting to be.

So now I’ve pulled the background forward, which was a ton of work. When I got tired of working one part of the piece, I would switch to another part of the work. Next I worked the dimensional aspects of the cows and their fur, and blocking in all the details of that as well. On the Big cow in the foreground, the sunlight on the right side of the cow makes for the most blazing part of the color of the piece —because that rising sun is just peaking over the horizon, lighting the side of the cow even before it’s high enough to cast shadows… it’s that ‘Magic 5 Minutes’ of the ‘Magic Hour’ that directors and film makers focus so much on when they film, when the light is just right, at its most beautiful.

After I was satisfied that the grass and walls were done, mixing a variety of greens, with some Prussian Blue thrown in for the shadows, I could now paint what goes on top of them, the fences and gates. This was very satisfying to paint in, because it popped the main cows forward while pushing the other 3 cows, which to my eye seemed to just float around in the composition, back where they belonged, in proportion of the depth of field. I had kept asking myself, What can I do to make them look like they’re not floating? It was so bizarre to me, but painting in the fence lines and gate solved the problem.

The last week I worked on this, still allowing for time for the paint to dry before I shipped it, was to put all the highlights I could put as possible on the fence posts, the hay on the left-hand side of the ground, the gate, the feeder building, cloud tops, etc. The last thing I did was to sign the piece, only after I have completely exhausted all the other aspects of the Composition.

Finally, the two images above show the concept in digital format before paint was applied to Canvas, and then the finished piece hung in place. Having the ability to first show the concept before work is even commenced really does have its advantages, and helps your potential Clients and Patrons see in their own Minds’ eyes and with their own eyes the potential of what the creative process can bring into this particular physical realm.

For my upcoming show I am working on the digital aspects of my own paintings before I complete them – hopefully it will help me be as successful in completing them as the research I did for my Patrons for this painting. This project was very rewarding and has helped build my momentum as an emerging artist… plus has helped me land not only a faithful Patron but great friends as well – I am presently concepting our second of three other works. Hey Joe – Great post. Timely, relevant. I follow your comments and mostly agree with everything you usually say, but want to drive home a specific point.

What the Powers that Be want us to believe is that All is Hopeless, We Have no Choice, Everything is Broken, Government Doesn’t Work, Our Kids are Dumb, They Can’t do the Job – it’s the Teacher’s Fault, it’s the Unions Fault – On and on.

What Science is starting to tell us, however, is that is not the way the Omniverse™ works – not the way it works at all. And THAT is the Big Secret that is being hidden from all of us. Mankind is capable of anything, the most beautiful, the most inclusive, the most benevolent of existences­­­. But that is being fought tooth and nail – and why? The Power to control thru Money.

Joe, it’s my hope that we’re all waking up to what is really at the core of why we are all here on this little rock spinning in this void of blackness. We have to cut ourselves slack, and these same “Powers that Be” as well – they have been bred to have no soul, no conscience­­­… and that horrible behavior is rewarded, while those with compassion get stepped on. Humanity should recognize and reward the more Positive Thought Structure™ that has always been within all of existence.

As more of a Progressiv­e than a Liberal, but Liberal none the less, I as many of my like-minde­d peers subscribe to the Gandhi Mindset, or as I like to label it with my own terminolog­y, ‘Coming from the Gandhi Structure of Thought™’, which DOES exist, within the realm of something we all are a part of, the infinite of the Omniverse™­. That is, Violence is NEVER an option… but organized, civil disobedien­ce is and has to be a democratic option… having no secrets, no hidden agenda. Can those on the right say the same thing?

Did you go and watch the videos this Jared posted? IMO, his writings reflect someone who is suffering from schizophre­nia, but more likely has bi-polar disorder..­.. he is tuning into something that in his mind makes sense, but in his explanatio­n of what point(s) he is trying to make, makes little to no sense about what he is trying to convey. In other words, his brain-tune­r and how it filters this reality, is way off-kilter­.

IMO there is a huge attempt by the powers that be to influence the events taking place, how we perceive this reality, and place the blame on those who best fit pushing their agenda, mostly hidden.
